Want to write great content for this website for the whole world to see? Read on to find out how to do so, what the guidelines are, and what’s in it for you.

Who I am Looking For

I’m looking for people who have a passion for caregiving whether it be at home or in the workplace. I want to hear about your knowledge and experiences working with others in need. You don’t necessarily have to be in the medical field to be helpful in this space.

I have been working in the hospital setting for over a decade now, but my knowledge is still limited. There are so many different avenues caregivers can take and I can’t thoroughly cover all of them alone. Your experiences could potentially compliment mine.

If you have ever worked or volunteered in a hospital, nursing home, assisted living facility (ALF), skilled nursing facility (SNF), rehab center, hospice, etc. or if you have long term experience taking care of a family member or friend in need, I want your help.

What I am Looking For

I am searching for partners that will help bring this website to the next level. You don’t have to know how to edit and post content online. I will take care of that aspect. I am looking for someone who is willing to write on topics that I am unfamiliar with.

What am I unfamiliar with? Many things in the healthcare space. It is too vast for any one person to know everything. There are many topics that I have general knowledge in, but not necessarily experience in. I want this website to reflect knowledge through experience. The more the better.

You don’t have to be a professional writer either, just a competent one. I have had no professional training when it comes to writing yet I have created 120+ articles on this website. Does it all come off as top notch journalism? Absolutely not, but I feel it does come off as authentic.

More Specific Details

I want the voice I have created to continue on through the website: helpful and knowledgeable, yet personal and easy to understand. I try to speak to my audience like a friend in need. I don’t want to lose that.

I want content that people are searching for. If you don’t know what that is, that’s okay. It is something we can research and discuss together. Odds are, if it’s a topic you’ve searched for in the past, someone else has too.

I want the content to be thorough. The finer the details, the better. I want to overdeliver what people are looking for so they feel like they received what they intended to find and then some.

There’s no minimum or maximum word count requirement, so don’t worry about hitting a specific length. What matters most is that the content is thorough enough to genuinely help the reader.

All of the content must be original and cannot have been posted anywhere else, before or after publishing it here. No plagiarism or copyright violations allowed. Simply paraphrasing other articles is unacceptable. There should also be citations for researched information.

What’s in it for You?

Things have changed a bit since I first wrote this page. Rather than paying writers myself, I now offer paid guest placements on this website. The cost varies depending on the article and topic, so reach out and we can work out the details together.

If you’d like a backlink to your own website or business included in the article, that can be arranged. If you’d like author credit for your work, that’s available too. Both are entirely up to you.

The one thing that hasn’t changed is originality. The content must be your own and cannot have been posted anywhere else, before or after it’s published here.

If you’d like to see examples of guest articles already published on this website, check this page out.
